Clean Air Can Make a Difference
According to the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA), indoor air quality is among the five most important environmental
concerns
facing
Americans
today. Not surprising, since the EPA also estimates that we spend approximately
90% of our time indoors.
In the home, the effects of poor indoor air quality are alarming. EPA
studies indicate indoor air pollutants may be two to five times, and
possibly more
than 100 times higher than outdoor levels.
While young children and those with allergies and asthma are especially
susceptible to its effects, poor indoor air quality can lead to health
problems for any person.
